Blue & Purple Makeup look with Sugarpill + Amatuer Night Club Pics!

My hubby and I went out dancing last night. I just received my Sugarpill order on Friday and wanted to try it out so I did a blue and purple look. I got all 9 pressed shadows by ordering the Burning Heart palette, The Sweetheart palette and the bullet proof pressed shadow. So I saved $28 by getting the 2 palettes instead of getting the colours individually! That's a sweet deal!  I didn't get any loose shadows as I don't know where the heck I would put them right now. Seriously if you saw the makeup lair, you'd understand. I'll do a post on that soon...

Anyway, I originally wanted to do something simple. Just a basic smokey purple look using only Poison Plum and Tako to highlight under my brow. But part way through, I added blue and then decided to do glitter liner...cuz you know I love glitter! I also didn't wear false lashes because I didn't feel like putting them on for some reason.
I took these pics in the car on our way to meet up with friends so sorry I don't have as many pictures as normal and sorry they aren't that great! The sunroof was open so my hair was blowing around...

So the reason I called this amateur night was because the odd mix of people and the funny dancing they all brought with them. I'm not normally the type to make fun of someone's dancing because I love it when someone is a bad dancer and they don't care and just want to get out there and dance...but sometimes, people are obviously doing the craziest nonsense for attention and they are asking for it!

Not sure if I have ever introduced you all to crutch lady. She scares me. She dances with her crutch by swinging it around in the air like a sword and then slamming it into the ground. Seriously I try to stay off the dance floor whenever she's on it.

So yeah, check out the dude with that horrid bright red wig. HE is worse than crutch lady. Besides his gross Marilyn Manson outfit (looked like it needed to be washed about 15 years ago!), he danced with the weird crosses, would lay on the floor and hump them. Um...that's just messed up!

Simple look: Dark Blue Glitter Liner + Dark Plum Lips

So I dunno why my camera made me look all tan. I'm not! I might try this look again at another time in natural light to see if it shows up the way it should. But anyway. I've seen a lot of blogs with pictures of gals with their mouths parted. I think it looks cute and sort of sexy. But I feel like a huge dork when I do it! What do you think?
I also bought some OCC lip tars to make my own lip colours. I'm not going to swatch them since everyone and their grandma already has.
I made this colour using Demure, NSFW and a tiny bit of RX to make a dark plum colour. I really like these lip tars! They are extremely opaque, comfortable to wear and easy to apply and you only need a teeny tiny amount. I love how they give that wet, juicy look.
I read a lot about people having trouble with bleeding. I didn't at all with mine because I first applied Avon Plump Pout lipgloss in Nude Pout, blotted it, then applied a tiny amount of the lip tar mixture with a lip brush. NO bleeding at all! I also ordered some clear lip liner from Avon and I will see how it works with the lip tars when I get it.
Anyway, here's the look. It photographed so weird. Made me have this sort of dark yellow look and made the eyeshadow look really WEIRD too. It's like an ethereal glowing blue shadow. Has sort of a yellow tinge here when it really doesn't. I feel like I look sick or something. Meh.

Exercise for 8-26-10 Biking

Originally I was planning on doing weights for a workout but I really wanted to get out of the house as did my hubby. We live in Colorado near TONS of walking/biking trails. So we hopped on our bikes and road for around 45 minutes for 7.5 miles on medium trails. The path I chose was fairly rugged terrain with a few steep inclines and many bumps.  We had some serious butt/thigh burning going on. It felt so good but I also had a headache so the bumps made it much worse for a while and then it went away.
The trail also had some wild life like bunnies, prairie dogs, other little rodents and a cow. I started laughing when I saw the cow because he clearly got out of his fenced in area some how.  So I started yelling "MOOO!" at him as we road past and he actually turned around and looked at us. Jason said, "Stop it! He'll chase after us!". Hee hee. Well even if he didn't think it was funny, I did. Cuz I'm a dork like that. :-)
