Smokey Pink and Wine look using Stars Makeup Haven

I have been neglecting my SMH palettes and made myself do a look with one today. I really love how effortless blending is with using these babies. I did thick wings today. I don't think I ever have before (I could be wrong), but I wanted to do a soft, smokey look with intense eyeliner and this is how it turned out. For some reason I took way more head shots than I normally do. I typically only do 1-3 if  I have close ups of the eyes. All of these are done with flash as the Rocky Mountains makes the sun set a little early here, so I had no light to work with.  Dang it!

Smokey Teal/Aqua look using Morgana Minerals

I realize I haven't posted in a week or hardly commented on your blogs. I have been really pressed for time and have hardly had the time to put makeup on, let alone comment about yours! Which sucks because I'm missing you all and your pretty looks! But soon I will be able to post more regularly. I have been working on some new feather collar designs for my etsy store, working on costuming for myself and working on a performance piece with my dance partner. We have a gig in a month or so and I've been focusing more on that than the blog world. It's important that we stay on ball with our technique and work on new dance material.
Anyway, my husband and I went dancing last night. A lot of our closest friends go to this particular club, so we rarely get pictures there. We're too busy talking our heads off or dancing our butts off. I managed to get a few makeup pics before we left. This is the FIRST time I have ever worn pink lipstick to a goth club. So I hope you like this. Wearing bright pink anywhere but the eyes is a big deal for me! This look is so much more sparkly in person!

Yellow and Turquoise look using My Stuff

Meh! It has been the grossest, rainy, gloomy day ever. So the lighting today totally sucked for my pictures. Since it is so gross out, I did a bright, soft look. I tried some pics with flash, but they didn't turn out well. Sorry the quality isn't as good as it normally is. I sharpened them in photoshop and it helped a bit. But still they look a bit grainy. Hopefully the weather will get better and lighting for pics will be better soon!

White & Purple look + Teal Glitter Liner using My Stuff

So here's a look using more weird stuff I made a while back. I put so much sparkles in the shadows that they look kind of weird in the pics...almost bumpy and uneven, but it's just the sparkles that make it seem to look that way. Or is it just me and you don't notice it? Oh well. They look nice in person!
All pics are done in natural light.

Lion Tamer look + Creepy Carnival club pics

Jason and I weren't really feeling up to going out last night. But we had a Birthday party to go to, and there was the creepy carnival theme we came up with for our friends to dress up at the club. So we didn't want to miss a Birthday and thought it would be rude to skip out on a theme we came up with. I don't think it would have mattered if we did though since hardly anyone dressed for the theme! Party poopers!  Most of you know I decided on the Lion Tamer costume and my husband went with creepy clown. I didn't get to spend as much time on my costume and makeup as I wanted to, so I feel like some elements are missing. I wanted to have more blush on, some red and orange rhinestones and more heavily winged eyeliner. Plus I soooo wanted to wear a feather collar with this look but I didn't have time to put it on and make it look right. I think it would have finished the look. Dang it! Anyway. Here is my makeup look followed with club pics.
I had been wearing this look for several hours by the time these pictures were taken. So my mouth looks really dry...was not very comfortable!
