Soft Neutral Makeup look with 88 Cool Shimmer Palette BH Cosmetics

This is a toned down look for me. No black cat liner, no false lashes and almost devoid of colour. Why? The hubby had a work BBQ last Saturday. I didn't want to look like a Drag Queen and with the weather being in the 80's, I wanted to be more comfortable. So I opted for more natural looking makeup that wouldn't melt off my face. :-)

Why do I look naked? Am I wearing a tube top? I'm naked! Ha! Took these pictures after the BBQ and being sweaty for 5 hours, I just wanted the clothes OFF.  I finally fixed my roots as you can see. :-)

Soft Golden Pink Makeup Look

This was from weeks ago. I did a quick look for a Birthday party, took pictures before heading there, then never looked at the pictures. Since it's been so long, I can't for the life of me remember what the heck I'm wearing. Seriously have no clue. But I figured I'd go ahead and share the pictures with you anyway in case someone would happen to like this particular look.
I had a huge zit on my cheek which I did a fairly good job of covering up. I could have photoshopped it, but I left it as I prefer people to see me as I am, imperfections included. :-)

NOTD: Avon Golden Wine + Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Burgundy Orchid

I haven't been doing my nails very much. I've been too busy making jewelry to bother with it. But I did my nails to go out on Friday night. :-)  I also did really cool makeup but I forgot to take pictures of it. Yes, I am bad.

I didn't do a very good job with this. I was on Skype with my brother who is serving in Iraq, so I was distracted. I was painting my nails before he called so I couldn't just stop with it partially done. So while we talked I tried to finish my nails, he would turn record on our conversation, which made this loud buzzing noise that startled me every time. Yes, he did it on purpose! He's a turd. My brother is U.S. Cavalry so he's in very dangerous situations. I'm so thankful that even though he's very busy, has been hit with IED's and has been injured, that he still makes time to speak to his family. I worry about him all the time. I miss him and can't wait for him to come home safely!

Anyway, onto the nails! Looks way better in person.

Makeup look with Aromaleigh Mythos Collection + Picture Tutorial

Still quite busy with work so I'm behind on posting some tutorials I did last week. I haven't worn makeup all week! The makeup Gods will be displeased!

I have to apologize, I skipped two steps in the tutorial for some reason. My brain must be somewhere else...

Oh yeah, I'm also working on a jewelry giveaway to post soon. :-)

My camera made my skin look darker than usual...and weird...
