Blue and Purple glitter look

Since I'm still feeling like crap (someone please put me outta my misery!), I thought I would do a vibrant look to get me outta my funk. I used natural lighting this time. I don't think I have in a long time so I should do it from time to time. It shows my natural eye colour better (they are hazel so they change colour based on what I'm wearing). Wow am I really this pale...probably.

Eyes (all applied in this order):
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (applied all around the eye area up to brow and rubbed in gently with ring finger)
My Stuff  (upper lid applied with MAC 239 by patting/sweeping and lower lash line applied with MAC 266)
My Stuff (applied to crease and outer V with MAC 217 by patting/sweeping and blending)
Simply Natural's - Purple Passion (inner corner, applied with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
SMH - Pink Opal (applied under brow with MAC 217 by patting/sweeping and softening the edges)
SMH - Unzipped (applied to upper lash line, using MAC 266 and then using MAC 210 for the wing)
Teal and Purple natural mineral glitter (applied to outer corner/below wings, with MAC 266 by patting/pressing)
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Yeyo (waterline)
Hard Candy Ginormous Mascara in Black Out

Lips: NYX round lipgloss in Wild Orchid

Sweet Sensations Body Cafe Peppermint Face Cream (applied with fingertips)
Physicians Formula Healthy Wear SPF50 Powder Make Up in Translucent Light

  1. Pretty! I love the way you used the glitter in the outer corners :)

  2. Oooh glitters! I hope dolling youeself up made you feel a bit better :)

  3. I love your cat eye! I have to practice mine becuase for me, it just makes my eyes look really long and just awkward >:/

  4. I effing love that lid colour, and I think I need that NYX gloss in my life.

I like these natural lighting photos :) it gives a good indication of how sparkly something is in real life, since flash can make shimmer go nuts sometimes!

  5. aww, even though you are feeling like poop, you still look gorgeous. Pretty combo, and i really love the glitter on the lower lash line. Hope you feel better soon.

  6. Very nice :) I still can't get the hang of natural light. My camera always says "screw you! go blurry!" and then it hates me.

  7. I loooooooooooove how your eye looks. The teal looks great., the purple looks nicein the crease. How much do you like Pink Opal?

  8. This is beauuutiful!! You're still sick? Do you have the swine flu or something?!? My friend was sick forever when she had that...

  9. Nice and bright :). Really sorry to hear you still feel like crap.

  10. Wow Sweetie that looks absolutely amazing! x x

  11. That blue is really gorgeous, and I love the little bit of glitter! I hope you feel better soon booboo :( Your Fyrinnae has been shipped out, I got a confirmation email yesterday.

  12. Kiku,
    Thank you!

    Thanks. I do too. :-)

It did a little bit. Thank you.

Thanks. You might just need to get used to how it looks on you. :-)

This lipgloss is gorgeous. I love it!

Very true. Although sometimes I feel like it can tone down colours a lot so they don't look as shimmery/sparkly as they are IRL.

Ugh, I know, I just want to get better now. Thanks. It's hard to feel gorgeous when you have snot hanging outta your nose!

There must be some setting you could use to fix that...At least I think you should. Some cameras are just plain evil!

Ooh thank you! I really like the Pink Opal. It's a great highlight with sort of pink heat/shimmer to it. :-D

Thank you. :-) I haven't been to the doc so I don't know what I have. I finally feel a lot better today so I think it's going away. I hope anyway.

Thanks. Yep, still feeling gross. Meh.

    Thank you sweet lady!

Thank you! You know I always love to use glitter! Me too. I hope I'm over this soon. Awesome! Thank you! I will let you know when it arrives. :-D

  13. Beautiful! I love the glitter! XO

  14. I like this look, it is so colourful :-)

  15. Marce,
    Thank you, me too!

    Thank you. :-)
