Smokey Teal look using Archetype and my glitter

So I totally got tired of doing Holiday looks. And I needed to model a couple new teal feather collars/chokers I made recently to put up in my ETSY SHOP.  They aren't up yet but will be soon. Since I don't have a model and I'd prefer not to have to pay one, I just do it myself. It's more difficult taking the pics but it saves me moolah. Plus I get to do fun makeup on myself that matches these pretty things. Hee hee. :-)

Eyes:

Eyes (all applied in this order):
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (applied all around the eye area and rubbed in with ring finger)
Archetype - Frozen Charlotte (inner corner, applied with MAC 228 by patting)
Archetype - St. Alia-of-the-knife (middle of upper and lower lid, applied with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
Archetype - Shackled (outer V, applied with with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
Simpley Natural's - Flesh (inner corner and under brow using MAC 217 and blending/softening the edges)
TKB - Aqua Sparks (outer corner of eye socket area, patted on with MAC 217)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner - Flipside (upper lash line extending out)
My Stuff - a combination of different glitter colours I mixed to create a teal/blue (applied by patting on top of flipside)
Avon Luxury eyeliner pencil in black (waterline)
MAX Factor Vivid Impact mascara in moonlit black
Some sort of teal crystal rhinestones I bought from Michael's Craft store, applied using eyelash glue

Lips:
Avon lipliner in deep plum
Morgana Vegan Lipstick in Shrieking Violet

Face:
Jane Cosmetics Nearly Foundation SPF 30 in Fair (applied with fingertips)
Morgana Minerals Blue Foundation (applied with a large powder brush)
Simply Natural's powder foundation in Enchanted Dawn (applied as bronzer to cheeks, nose, forehead and chin with an angled blush brush)

  1. This is sooooo pretty! Ugh, you make me want to buy from Archetype again, which I promised myself I wouldn't do! I love how the rhinestones match flipside so well!

  2. I know Archetype is a pain...at least I ordered almost every single eyeshadow sample so I won't have to buy from them again. Phew! And thank you! :-)

But this look is lovely! It matches your um...feathery neck warmer perfectly! :)

I really love the stuff in your shop! Your collars/chokers are fab. I wish I could pull that off, shoot.

  7. Love this. I'm with you on the modeling thing. I model all my own stuff as well. (I'm a former model anyway.) It's faster, saves me money, and I don't have to deal with model releases and all that jive. :)
