Morgana Mineral's Tavern Wench Mutiny Look

It's been snowy and cold here the past few days. So it's very gloomy and holy cow it's freezing. I think it has been influencing my looks as I noticed they all look sort of "cold" to me. As long as they look nice it shouldn't matter. :-)
I decided to try out something a little different today by putting glitter on my lips. I have worn glitter on my lips before, but I typically used more natural/pink colours and not blue. Whatcha think???

Sparkly lips!

Eyes (all applied in this order):
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy applied to upper lid
Morgana's Mystery Veil Under brow area
Morgana's - Mutiny (entire upper lid to crease, applied with MAC 228 by patting)
Morgana's - Tavern Wench (outer V and crease, applied with with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner -Lust (lower lashline and upper lashline extending outward)
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner - Yeyo (waterline)
Morgana's Ultimate Volume Mascara in Green

Morgana's Vegan Lipstick in Nightshade as base
Teal Twist glitter pressed on top with ring finger

Jane Cosmetics Nearly Foundation SPF 30 in Fair (applied with fingertips)
Earth-Glo Minerals powder foundation in Natural (applied with kabuki brush)
TKB - Winter Rose used on forehead, cheeks, chin and nose (it's a light rose shimmery colour with a blue hue) Gives sort of a warm and cold glow at the same time!(applied with an angled blush brush)

  2. OMG! I love what you did with Teal Twist. BTW, I changed Tavern Wench a bit to make it more green and sparkly. I wish Mutiny would photograph better. It changes colors so beautifully! If I have time I want to make a video of my color shifting pigments. Mystery Veil is kind of an experiment I sent out to see what they thought. It changes colors too.

  3. I know! It's so hard to photograph the more complex colours. I wish it would show up better too. It does have nice colour shifting. Dang it!
If you do make any videos of the pigments, lemme know and I'll post 'em here for ya. :-D

  4. looks so pretty the entire thing is so rockin see you next wekened if we don't come out sunday :P

  5. Thanks Angela! If we don't see you this Sunday then next weekend for sure! Miss you guys!

  6. Wow, the green mascara is awesome! And I really like the glitter lips :)

  7. Oh my god I LOVE the way your lips turned out. Your eyes look great too. I'm envious of how tiny you got your UD Lust upper lash line to look.

  8. Wow, I didn't know blue lips could actually look good on someone! Amazing

  9. Heather,
Thanks! I like the mascara too.

    Thank you!

I've never worn blue on my lips but I like the way it turned out too! I don't even know how I get my liner so thin...I used to draw and paint a lot (I won awards in high school and some pieces were on display in the WV state art museum) so I think that helps with some makeup application too. Plus my mom always wears her eyeliner like that so some skill is from watching her as a kid. :-) Thanks!

Thank you! I didn't either, especially on me. I will have to do this look again with different glitter. :-0
