NOTD: Steampunk Nails w/ Orly Cosmic FX Galaxy Girl + Gears, Cogs Nail Art

Tried something different with my nails. I have hundreds of tiny vintage watch parts that I use to make jewelry. I thought it would be cool to use some as nail decals. It looks so cool!

My husband asked me, "How are you going to pick your nose with those things on your nails?!".  Carefully...very carefully. :-)







I achieved this look with:
1 coat of Avon's NAIL EXPERTS Smooth Beginnings Base Coat 
3 coats of  Orly Cosmic FX - Galaxy Girl
dabbed clear polish where I wanted the gears, pressed the gears on. Let it dry then applied 2 thick top coats of Avon's NAIL EXPERTS UV Gloss Guard Top Coat
I will definitely use gears again!

    This looks AMAZING! I love the look of cogs and gears. I'ts such a unique idea - I'll have to try it at some point. :)

    Oh man this polish looks so good. I won the Cosmic FX collection from Orly, once I received it, I noticed I didn't get this polish, but I got two of It's Not Rocket Science, which turned out to be the worst one of the collection. I really don't like the color of it... :S
