Vibrant Blue Makeup look with Sobe Botanicals

I guess this is one way to wear blue without looking like an 80's whore. :-) Actually, I'm only saying that because that's a common reason why some won't wear blue eye looks. Don't be afraid of blue! Just try wearing it in the right tone to go with your skin, or at least try wearing it with another colour to make it wearable.

Eyes (all applied in this order):
Coastal Scents Shadow worx eye primer (applied to upper lid, blending in gently with ring finger)
Sobe stick it! eye primer (applied all around the eyes patting then rubbing in gently with ring finger)
Sobe - Metaphor (applied to outer lid, V and crease with MAC 217 by patting/sweeping inward)
Sobe - Cosmic Irony (applied to lid and crease and lower lash line with MAC 217 by patting/sweeping)
Sobe - Ice Castle (applied to inner V with MAC 228 by patting)
Sobe - Connotations (applied to lower lash line and winging out with MAC 266)
NYX - Highlight (applied under brow with MAC 217 by patting/sweeping)
Maybelline Eyestudio 24 Hour Gel Eyeliner - blackest black (applied to upper lash line winging outward)
Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara - Very Black (lower lashes)
Ardell Lashes #113

Eyebrows: Sobe Fill Me In Brow Filler - a mixture of Brunette and Raven (applied with MAC 266)

Lips: Sobe Botanicals - Neglige

Skin MD Shielding lotion
Sobe Powder Foundation - Light Warm (applied with Coastal Scents bionic buffer brush)
Sobe Illusionist Powder (applied all over face/neck with a large powder brush)
Sobe blush - Enchanted (applied to cheek bones and blending back toward the hair line)

  1. I think blue looks are beautiful but I like it a lot more on your eyecolour than mine. But that doesn't keep me from wearing it anyway. And you're right, you don't HAVE to look like and 80's victim but you just have to know how to wear it a little bit. :D
Looking good, Blix! (By the way, did you quit NTMS?)

  2. Beautiful as always, your necklace is lovely, too :)

  3. I adore using blues...i tend to go with blues that ever so slightly lean towards teal and also dark inky blues i love using too.
This look really suits you. Love the lipstick too
