Soft Purple and Blue look using Victoria's Revenge by Aromaleigh

While I really do like this look, there are a few annoying things I did that I'm not too happy about. I filled in my eyebrows a bit more than usual and they look really intense to me. But I'm sure I'm the only one that notices. I also used too much highlighter under my brow and it looks too frosty. The pics with flash made it look really bad so you just get natural lighting pics today. Another thing is I over blended one eye. So you can tell one eye is darker than the other. None of these things are particularly horrible and don't really ruin the look. Like I said, it's annoying but these things happen. We all have something like this from time to time so I'm just not worried about. The learning process never stops in my opinion, and we always learn different ways of doing things to get the right look. I just need to go back to using a matte fleshy colour shadow for my brow bone and use less Pixie Epoxy in that area. :-)
I can say I'm getting much better at applying my fake lashes too. Took me a few seconds today, no issues and I can't even feel them. Woot!
Eyes (all applied in this order):
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (applied all around the eye, rubbing in gently with ring finger)
AL - apocolypse pansy (applied to outer V and outer half of lower lash line with MAC 239 by patting/sweeping)
AL - mania's locus (applied to upper lid with MAC 239 by patting)
AL - infernal chaos (applied to inner corner with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
AL - scratched scruples (applied to lower lash line with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
AL - snow (applied under brow with MAC 217 by patting/sweeping)
Kryolan Aqua color Liner - black (applied wet with water, using MAC 210 on upper lash line and extending out)
Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Flipside (water line)
Hard Candy Ginormous Mascara in Black Out (lower lashes)
Ardell Wispies Lashes

Lips: NYX round lipgloss in Golden Prune

Face:
Skin MD Shielding lotion
AL Glissade Foundation Powder in 2CL (applied with Jumbo buffer brush)
AL Ultra Resolution Finishing Powder (applied with Jumbo Flat Top brush)
AL You're a Doll! Gothic Lolita Rouge in Dolly (applied to cheeks with a small blush brush)

Before anyone asks, yes, I made the jewelry. :-)

  3. Those are really nice shades together! I had a total brainfart today on my makeups decisions so I only wore turquoise liner :( Tomorrow is inventory day and last year I wore hardcore black and red shadow so the sales peeps would stay away from me, looking all scary and stuff, I don't know what I'll do for tomorrow's "stay away from me" idea.

  4. I really like this look. I've been pointing out your blog to Mineral Make-up Newbies so they can look at your looks & your swatches.

Did you make your earrings & necklace? I love them! I want a set!

I received VR from Miss K too, but can't get good swatch pictures. May I reference your swatch pictures in my blog post about them and include links back to your blog?

  11. Ha ha! I was just about to ask about the jewelry, and then I read the last line. I love the makeup and the jewelry. And they complement each other beautifully.

I don't see any application flaws. It's all perfect (as usual) to me.
