House Closing Day/Fall Makeup Look with Morgana Cryptoria

This was a look from last Wednesday. It was house closing and we had to be there at 9 am. I wasn't sure I would have time to do any makeup at all but since I got up at my normal 6:30 am time, I had time to do a little.
I went for a warm fall look that was sort of inspired by the changing leaves. Trees around here right now are vibrant yellows, oranges and browns. I love this time of year!
I took these pictures in the car on our way to sign the mountain of papers...so sorry they aren't the usual type of pics.
I have nothing on my lips and no fake lashes on!

Eyes (all applied in this order):
Too Faced Shadow Insurance (applied to lower lash line and upper lid, blending in gently with ring finger)
Simply Natural's(applied under brow with MAC 217 by patting, sweeping and blending downward)

Morgana - Pumpkin Pie (applied to middle of upper lid with MAC 239 by patting)
Morgana -  Drawbridge (applied to outer V with MAC 217 by patting and sweeping)
Avon Ultra Luxury eye liner pencil in black (applied softly to upper and outer lower lash line)

AL You're a Doll! Gothic Lolita Rouge in Rococo (applied to cheeks with a small angled blush brush)

Moving update:
Most of our things are at the new house and are mostly in the right place.  We don't have a lot of "junk" so there is a lot less work to do than we originally thought. So because of that, I might be back to normal blogging and reading/commenting on your bloggies in a week or so...I hope anyway. I will keep you lovley gals posted so you know I'm not neglecting you!
I have a couple more looks to post which I will try to do this morning before I get started on work and then finish up some more packing. I just want to be fully moved in as soon as possible!

I haven't been posting any workouts because moving has been my workout. Since we didn't have anyone help us, Jason and I have been moving our heavy furniture on our own. Oh yes, I am sore and feel like I did the most EVIL of Cathe workouts in a row! I'm glad tho because I hate not being active.

Anyway, I hope you all are having a great weekend! Anyone have any fun plans for Halloween? I have at least 2 parties to go to and might go to a haunted house if we have the time.

Red and Wine Glitter Makeup look with Morgana Cryptoria

House closing was yesterday so I am officially a home owner! Yay! We started moving some of our stuff over to the new house last night. So my kitties are really weirded out with the living room being vacant right now. To make it easier on us, we're just moving one room at a time and setting up as soon as we put it in the room it goes in, so we're not overwhelmed with the whole house. Once we get the house in order, I will be sure to post some pictures! So we'll be busy but in a very good way for the next few weeks.

Here's a look I did on Tuesday but haven't had the time to post. I've been trying to get into the spirit of Halloween. I wouldn't necessarily consider this a Halloween look, but it could be. I went dark and dramatic, also wearing some jewelry I made specifically for myself, so you can't get it anywhere! Well, that is unless you went through me... :-D
Sort of makes me think of a romantic vampire look. Bloody Mary is the BEST red eyeshadow ever!

Here's me without the jewelry and lipstick so you can see it's pretty wearable for evening.

Gold, Olive and Brown Smokey Fall look with Morgana Minerals

I got up at my normal time (6:30 am) and instead of letting myself take the time to wake up fully, I did a makeup look while sipping...OK gulping down a HUGE cup of coffee. I don't think I look tired, but my eyelids tend to be puffy and weird for the first couple hours after waking up, so it was a little weird to apply makeup right away.

Also, I don't think I have ever said this before but Morgana Minerals has become my fav makeup brand. I think inside I've known it for a while but I've never posted about it. I just really love the eyeshadows, lipsticks and glitter so much! I find myself wanting to reach for my Morgana stash more than anything. I've also done more makeup looks in the past year with Morgana Minerals more than any other brand. It's like Morgana Minerals was made for ME! :-)  OK like a dork, I said Morgana Minerals too many times!
Does anyone have a particular brand they feel this way about? I would love to hear what is your all time fav and why.

So here's my look. I'm still not fully awake so I hope I describe the application correctly!

Pink, Purple and Teal Look + Glitter liner with Morgana Minerals

This past week was probably the most stressful week of my life. Between a death in the family, a near death, buying a house, packing to move and crazy work, I feel completely drained. I'm looking forward to getting situated into our new house and taking at least a week off after Halloween. I need a serious mental and emotional break.
With everything going on, I didn't wear makeup at all this past week and my skin broke out, which is annoying. Even if I did wear makeup, I would not have had time to post anything. So here is a look a I did today to try to spend some time on me. I feel out of practice...why does it take only a few days to feel like you forgot how to apply eyeliner?! I know I'm not the only one. My hair looks kinda crazy in these pics...

I have no idea when my next post will be so I hope everyone has a great week. Some time soon I will get back to posting regularly and reading/commenting on your bloggies.
