Smoldering Fall Eye Makeup Tutorial

Here's a fall look for you. I combined gold, copper and burnt red, which reminds me of the changing of the leaves. :-)

This look was created using Archetype Cosmetics eyeshadows. As far as I know, they are discontinued as Archetype closed up shop.

Jewelry was made by moi: http://stores.ebay.com/Moon-Maiden-Jewelry

Start by applying your favourite eye primer. I used Coastal Scents Shadow Worx Eye Primer. Then apply a very sticky base (Sobe's Stick It!, Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy or Darling Girls Cosmetics Glitter Glue all work great).

Apply Dead Roses to the outer lid and V by patting.

Apply Mausie to the lid and crease by patting and sweeping outward.

Apply Queen of the Nile to the inner lid/crease by patting and sweeping outward.

Apply NYX eyeshadow in Vanilla Sky to the inner corner/V by patting and sweeping outward.

Apply Queen of the Nile to the inner lower lash line by patting.

Apply Mausie to the middle lower lash line by patting and sweeping inward.

Apply Dead Roses to the outer lower lash line to connect the gap.

Blend out the harsh edges by using NYX Nude under the brow and blending downward in a zig zag motion. For the lower lash line, use a skin tone eyeshadow or a powder foundation and blend out any harshness.

Using an angled taklon liner brush, apply Dead Roses to the lower lash line.

To make this look a little more dramatic, apply Dead Roses again to the outer crease and blend.

Apply a black liquid liner. I used e.l.f.'s Liner in Black.

Apply your favourite black mascara. I used 1 coat of e.l.f's Studio 3 in 1 Mascara in Very Black on the upper and lower lashes.

For the rest of what is on my face:
Eyebrows: Sobe Botanicals Fill Me In eyebrow powder Raven and Brunette mix (applied with MAC 266)

Lips: Sobe Botanicals - Blackened Rose (blotted)

Face:
Skin MD Shielding lotion
Sobe Botanicals Mineral Powder Foundation - Light Warm (applied with Coastal Scents small classic synthetic buffer brush)
Sobe Tinted Illusionist Powder (applied all over face with a large powder brush)
NYX blush - Taupe (applied just below the cheek bones to contour)
e.l.f. Studio Baked Blush - Rich Rose (applied to cheek bones and blending back toward the hair line)
e.l.f. Studio Baked Blush  - Pinktastic (applied just above the cheek bones to highlight)
