Blue and Purple Eye Makeup look + Picture Tutorial

Not sure how I managed this but I accidentally deleted a lot of recent comments that some of you made on my blog recently. :-(  After looking into it, they can't be retrieved. So if anyone asked a question, I obviously won't be able to answer it. I apologize for this!

Anyway, Sobe Botanicals recently released a collection of gorgeous shadows called Nom De Plume.  I have done a couple looks using some of them and wanted to do one with a tutorial for you. I hope you like it! The shadows featured here will be offered in a giveaway I will be doing soon. So stay tuned for that. :-D

Click below for the picture tutorial!

Start by applying your favourite eye primer. I used Coastal Scents Shadow Worx Eye Primer. Then apply a very sticky base (Sobe's Stick It!, Fyrinnae's Pixie Epoxy or Darling Girls Cosmetics Glitter Glue all work great).

Use an angled taklon brush to gently swipe Sobe's Connotations on the lower lash line, starting in the middle, then winging out.

Using the same type of brush, apply Sobe's Euphemism to the inner half of the lower lash line.

Apply Sobe's Genre to the inner corner by patting

Using a small shadow brush, apply Sobe's Perfect Ending to the inner half of the lid.

Using the same type of brush, apply Sobe's Hyperbole to the outer half of lid.

For this I used an angled blending brush and applied Sobe's Antagonist to the outer crease and V.

Using the same type of brush, I applied Sobe's Connotations to the middle crease.

Again, using the same type of brush, apply Sobe's Euphemism to the inner crease.

With a fluffy blending brush, apply Sobe's Connotations just about the outer half of the crease.

Then take Sobe's Diamond Dust and apply it just below the brow and blending downward.

With a fluffy blending brush, apply Sobe's Euphemism just above the crease and blend upward.

Blend out the lower lash line to soften any harsh edges.

Apply a black liquid liner. I used Kryolan aqua color in black.

Apply false lashes and mascara to bottom lashes to complete the look! I used Ardell #113 and Cover Girl Lash Blast Fusion Mascara in Very Black.

For the rest of what is on my face:

Eyebrows: Sobe Botanicals Fill Me In eyebrow powder Raven and Brunette mix (applied with MAC 266)

Lips: Sobe - Purple Rain

Face:
Skin MD Shielding lotion
Avon Ideal Flawless Invisible Coverage Foundation - Light Ivory
Sobe Powder Foundation - Light Warm (applied with Coastal Scents bionic buffer brush)
Sobe Tinted Illusionist Powder (applied all over face with a large powder brush)
Sobe duochrome blush - Enchanted (applied to cheek bones and blending back toward the hair line)
