Teal and Gray/Purple Makeup look with Sobe botanicals

Does anyone have any good moisturizing liquid/cream foundation to recommend? I've tried a couple but they are weird on me. I just want a simple non-powder foundation to use in the winter when my skin likes to freak out on me and get really dry. Sometimes my powder foundation (doesn't matter what brand) irritates my dry skin but I'd like to find a light/medium coverage foundation that isn't too drying. Lemme know!

I got the Coastal Scents Camouflage Concealer palette and used one of the concealers as a foundation for this look. It worked really well but since it mostly has colours I can't wear, it's not really economical to use as a regular every day foundation.

  3. Again, not sure if my phone comment posted, so anyway, what I said was that I love this look! It's so pretty. I will have to try that teal/gray/purple look sometime. Soon.

Also, the lipstick? LOVE. I really need to buy some Sobe lippies.

  4. What about a BB Cream? I've been using Missha BB Cream for two years (before it was en vogue) and it works so nice on me. It's quite moisturizing, but I prefer to use it after I've applied my daily cream (my skin is soooo dry). You can build it up, so you can use it lightly or not depending on what you want! Besides, there are lots of skin tones, so you can find yours easily.
I've heard wonders of Chanel's and LancĂ´me's foundation, but I can't tell since I haven't used them. I don't really like to use foundation very often... I must admit my skin is pretty nice and I don't feel I need it... Hope I can help! :S
PS: I LOVE your blog, I've known it a month ago and I watch it every single day. It's incredible how you play with colors, textures and light. I haven't posted before because I was a little shy and I didn't know what to say :$

  5. Like Eirene, I'm a big fan of BB Creams, but I prefer Holika Holika to Missha.

Holika Holika BB Creams are available in several different formulas; Orange Label (Nourishing) or Purple Label (Moisturizing) would work best with your skin. Also, they're a pretty decent color match for us pasty white Goth Girl types. :)

Holika Holika products can be purchased at Amazon (kcosmetics) and eBay (bellogirl).
