NOTD: OPI Black Onyx + Sally Hansen Nail Prisms Turquoise Opal

At the moment this is my fav polish. It looks so different depending on the angle and lighting so I took a lot of pictures! This is discontinued but I already found an exact dupe! :-) I wear these types of polishes over black to help the polish last longer as this is rather sheer and when worn alone, you may have to apply 4 coats of Turquoise Opal to get it to look like this.

Indirect natural light

More pics after the break. Trust me, it's worth a look if you haven't seen this polish!

I achieved this look with:
1 coat of Avon's NAIL EXPERTS Smooth Beginnings Base Coat
2 coats of OPI - Black Onyx
1 coat of Sally Hansen Nail Prisms - Turquoise Opal (discontinued)
1 coat of Avon's NAIL EXPERTS UV Gloss Guard Top Coat

  3. iiiihh! Can I get that in an eyeshadow! Most nail-polishes is so maddening in that way that I always want to have that effect on my eyes. Feel the same?

  4. Yes! I do feel the same. I'm hopeful that one day eyeshadow will be available that look like this and many other nail polishes! Would be amazing!

Were you planning on telling us what the dupe is? :)

  6. Uh, no! It must be kept secret! Ok, I'm kidding of course. The dupe is Ozotic 505: http://www.picturepolish.com.au/product_info.php?cPath=27&products_id=53

  7. Cool. Thanks!

The first rule of Polish Dupes is: you do not talk about Polish Dupes. ;)
