Peach and Purple Glitter Makeup Look + Tutorial Pictures with Morgana Cryptoria

This look is a few weeks old too. I did a tutorial for it as I feel that tutorials aren't meant just for dramatic looks. This isn't super amazing but I thought someone might like it! Gives you an idea of how I apply the more simple looks that I do.

I left my eyebrows unfilled as I normally do it last anyway. :-)  Also this shows you that I don't stencil my brows. I trim them very short and fill in their natural shape so they look more "tame".

Apply a very tiny amount of Monistat Chafing Relief Powder-Gel (or whatever anti-crease primer you like) to the upper lid with ring finger, let it set about 30 seconds. Then apply Detrivore Eye Primer on top and the lower lash line (it's sticky, a little shimmery and makes eyeshadow more bold) using the ring finger as well.

Take a brush like MAC 217 (or any shader/blender brush you like) and apply elf Innocent (it's a matte skin tone colour) just below the eyebrow and blend downward into the crease.

Take a brush like MAC 239 (or any shader brush you like) and apply Morgana's Transylvania Twist to the outer V by patting/sweeping.

Take a brush like MAC 239 (or any shader brush you like) and apply Morgana's Nightmare to the middle of lid going at an angle towards the outer crease by patting.

Take a brush like MAC 228 (or any shader brush you like) and apply Morgana's Selene to the inner corner by patting then sweeping out into the crease.

Soften the edges by blending with a good blending brush.
Use a glitter glue like Sally Girl Glitter Glue or Graftobian Glitter glue and apply a tiny amount just on top of Selene. Then lightly pat Morgana's Ancient glitter on top.

Take a liner brush like MAC 210 to mix with water and Kryolan Aquacolor liner - Black (the best liquid liner ever!) to get the consistency you like and gently, slowly apply to the upper lash line and extend outward to form a wing. Remember practice, patience and a steady hand will create lovely winged liner.

If you don't have Kryolan Aquacolor liner, then use whatever liner you want.

Apply black liner to the water line. Then to finish the look, apply your fav mascara. I used Cover Girl Volume exact mascara in Very Black

Oh yeah...fill in the eyebrows...or don't if you would prefer to look like an alien! :-D

Here's the rest of what is on my face:

Eyebrows: Ardell eyebrow powder in soft black (applied with MAC 266)

Lips: NYX lipgloss in African Queen

Face: Skin MD Shielding lotion
Physicians Formula Healthy Wear SPF 50 Powder in Translucent Light (applied using a flocked sponge by patting then blending)
AL rocks! sonic rouge in cherrybomb (applied to cheeks with a small angled blush brush)

If you have any questions, please let me know!

  4. Very pretty look. I like the drama on the eyes. I have a question about the eyebrows. Why do you trim them short instead of plucking or waxing completely and then color them in? Also, what do you use to color them in? A pencil or a powder based brow color? I ask because my eyebrows can give me fits and sometimes I wish I could just take them off and get permanent makeup or something.
