Purple matte + Glitter Makeup look with Morgana Cryptoria

This look was done a few days ago. I haven't had much time to post things so I'm behind on stuff to post. I'm also trying to read and comment on some of your bloggies. Slowly but surely, I'll get back up to regular posting and commenting. I feel bad about not having much time, but I know you all know that real life must come first!

This is the first time I have combined matte shadows and glitter. I like the contrast a lot.
I wore the look to the grocery. The check out girl said, "Aw, I love your makeup!". Jason (my hubby) immediately said he did it. Um...yeah right! The girl at first believed him, then went, "Nuh uh!" making a face like whatevuh! Jason couldn't do my makeup if his life depended on it. He surprisingly knows a lot about makeup tho. So I suppose he does listen to my constant blabbing about makeup...who knew?! Or maybe, he secretly reads my blog. That would be funny!

I think my skin got mad at me during the move. My skin became red and patchy for a few days. It has since cleared up but I can see it in these pics. I did a mask, then a few days later did microdermabrasion and my skin feels mucho bettuh now!

As always, the look is soooo much more sparkly in person!

  6. the contrast between the 2 different type of eyeshadow really does look great and I like that you've gone for the same kinda shade on your lips :)

I bet there was a moment when that checkout girl was soo jealous that you had a makeup artist hubby. How awesome would that be?
