Outfit of the day
This is a few weeks old. But I figured I would share it now before I get too behind on stuff I've neglected to post. I've just been really busy with work.
Not that you can see it well in these pictures, but I made the necklace: Winged Gear and Key Necklace
Not sure where I got the hat, I've had it for years.
Top is from http://stores.ebay.com/TheMOGAN-Clothing
The vest was purchased from eBay and I'm not sure what brand it is.
Bloomers were purchased from here: Desert Dancer Capris
Boots are NaNa brand. I don't think they make them anymore. I've had these for 8+ years.
Also, please go vote 5 stars on my photo (Emily - Steampunked) to help me win this facebook contest. It's over in less than 2 days and I would really appreciate your support. You can vote once a day until the contest is over. Thank you! Here's the link:

Some eye makeup looks from a while ago.
Normally I post full face photos and close up eye photos, but recently, I did a couple chemical peels and my face was red and peeling for a while, so my full face photos were not very appealing. Since the eye looks are fine, I figured I'd share them with you.
This first look was done using Darling Girl Cosmetics eyeshadow in Moondust (applied all over the lid/crease and the lower lash line). I then using NYX Vanilla Sky on the inner corner/V. The liner is Avon GLIMMERSTICKS Diamond Eyeliner in Sugar Plum. I finished it off with one coat of black mascara.
For this look I used Morgana Cryptoria's Winifred all over the upper lid/crease. I mixed Morgana Cryptoria's Lady Godiva with Darling Girl Cosmetics Glitter Glue, lined the upper lash line and winged it out. I finished it off with one coat of mascara.
This last look was created using eyeshadows I made. If you are familiar with my shadow creations, you would know that I don't sell them (have no intention to) therefor they do not have names.
Please, please, please do not forget to vote 5 stars on my photo (Emily -Steampunked) on FB! http://www.facebook.com/JessicaDrossinTextures?sk=app_378128728935295&app_data={%22mid%22%3A13170}
I never care to enter contests but this would mean a lot to me if I won. So thank you in advance for helping me out! You can vote once every 24 hours until the 11th, so make sure you go back and vote 5 stars again in 24 hours! I will keep reminding you on here since some of you requested reminders! Again, thank you so much!

American McGee's Alice Costume & Makeup
Happy Halloween! This costume and makeup look is what I wore last Friday and Saturday. My husband DJ's at an event that occurs usually once a month and we had our Halloween Spectacular on the 26th and a friend's house party on the 27th. Both were a lot of fun!
For my costume, I bought an American McGee's Alice dress, an Omega necklace and I used tights and boots I already had. I just happened to be at a Halloween shop that had a knife that was the right size and shape, similar to the Vorpal blade, so I bought it. It's a cheap piece of foam crap and on some parts, the paint was peeling off by the end of the night. Probably partially my fault. I was using it to spank my friends! Ha!
For the eye makeup I used products I already had from Morgana Cryptoria (she makes the best red eyeshadows!). I played both Alice video games like mad, so I felt confident that I could duplicate her makeup fairly well. I decided to go with how she looks in the second game: Madness Returns. In that one, Alice has blackened, smoky rusty red eye makeup with sort of natural glossy lips. So that is what I went with. I didn't do anything different with my hair except part it down the middle.
Morgana - Concubine (applied to crease by patting and blending upward. Also applied to lower lash line)
Morgana - Harbinger (applied to lid by patting and blending upward and outward. Also applied thinly to line the lower lash line)
Ardell Brow Defining Powder - Soft Black (applied to upper and lower lash line, inner corner and gently winged outward. I went over the upper lash line with a small shadow brush and blended it upward slightly)
NYX Jumbo Pencil - Milk (waterline)
NYX - Nude (applied under the brow and blended downward)
Eyebrows: Sobe Fill Me In Brow Filler - a mixture of Brunette and Raven (applied with MAC 266)
Lips: e.l.f. Studio Lip Balm SPF 15 - Plum
