Golden, Peach, Pink, Red & Brown Cut Crease + Glitter Liner Makeup Look/Tutorial with Aromaleigh

So here's a cut crease tutorial. I'm going to do another more dramatic tutorial later as I wanted to start you off with a lighter version of the cut crease. There are different ways that work better for each person attempting to do a cut crease. I have a very defined crease and I follow the natural shape of mine. If yours is not very defined or you don't have much of a crease at all, you can use a pencil or shadow and a liner brush to draw a line for your desired crease shape. Everyone's eyes are shaped differently so you will want to play with yours to find what works for you. This tutorial will show you how I sometimes do mine. It may work for you, it may not.
So here's the look!

I realize my lashes look insane...

Ha! How creepy! I was trying to take a pic without flash to show the sparkles (obviously didn't work!) but you can see my face in my eye! Heh heh! It's a reflection from my vanity mirror.

Gold, Green, Purple & Bronze Makeup Look with Cool Shimmer 88 Palette

No, I didn't get a haircut. I didn't realize my hair was doing this until I saw the pictures on my puter. I have really long hair with lotsa layers. It's about 3 inches below my bra line in the back with chin length layers in the front. I had my hair up while doing my makeup then let it down and it just fell this way. Looks cute though. Although I really need to dye my roots. Hee hee.

So anyway, onto the look. I used the cool shimmer palette again. I REALLY love the colours. This palette is way better than the original shimmer palette. They are so vibrant and jewel-toned. I was going for a very vibrant look on the lid, with a sort of neutral look on the lower part and NO liner. I never do that so I wanted to try something different. Let me know what you think!

Not sure why I look mad here...I'm not!

Cool Shimmer 88 Palette Chart (I made this!)

All of the colours I used were great to work with except #70. It has larger glitter pieces in it so it went on sort of flaky and did not want to blend!

Eyes:
Chafing Relief Powder-Gel (applied to upper lid, blending in gently with ring finger)
Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (applied all around the eyes patting then rubbing in gently with ring finger)
Cool Palette - 1 (applied under brow with MAC 217 by patting, sweeping and blending downward)
Cool Palette - 62 (applied to inner half of lid with MAC 239 by patting/sweeping)
Cool Palette - 83 (applied to outer half of lid with MAC 239 by patting/sweeping)
Cool Palette - 6 (applied to inner corner with MAC 228 by patting)
Cool Palette - 43 (applied to inner half of lower lash line with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
Cool Palette - 87 (applied to outer half of lower lash line with MAC 228 by patting/sweeping)
Cool Palette - 70 (applied to outer V with MAC 217 by patting then sweeping inward on the crease)
NYX Candy Glitter Liner - Lavender (applied on top of the purple by swiping it on)
Cover Girl Volume exact mascara in Very Black

Eyebrows: Ardell eyebrow powder in soft black (applied with MAC 266)

Lips: chapstick

Face: Skin MD Shielding lotion
Physicians Formula Healthy Wear SPF 50 Powder in Translucent Light (applied using a flocked sponge by patting then blending)
AL You're a Doll! Gothic Lolita Rouge in Dolly (applied to cheeks with a small angled blush brush)

Smokey Holographic glitter NYE Makeup look/Tutorial

I knew that everyone and their mom was probably wanting to do a NYE look with holographic glitter, but that didn't stop me from doing my own. Rather than filling in my eyebrows with powder, I used Kryolan's aqua color liner in Black Interferenz (iridescent) to paint them on (it was a little difficult as I'm used to using powder), then applied Collection 2000 Glam Crystals Dazzling gel liner (the purple one!) on top.

Click "read more" below for the tutorial.  I used SMH (Stars Makeup Haven) shadows for this look.

Happy New Year!

The hubby and I don't like to go out on NYE because of all the drunktards. So we stayed home and made a nice dinner, had a few drinks and watched movies. Here are a few pics of our evening.  Might be boring to some but we had an awesome time with just us and the kitties. :-)  We laughed a lot!

Makeup look I did for NYE.

Tutorial for this look will be posted soon. :-) I originally had dark lipstick on, but wiped it off after I finished with the makeup tutorial pics.

 :-)

Jason looks like a little kid. Athan looks scared. Yes, I have glitter on my eyebrows!

 Jason with his drinky

He was harassed a lot by us

 All cuddly

 Forced pose

Um...I should be scared...you should be too. Seriously, when I looked at this pic on the camera, I started laughing so much I was crying. I look like a cyborg...

 Athan with glowy eyes

We tried to duplicate Jason's scary face. It's just not the same!

We had to take some normal ones to make up for the goofy ones

Kissy face!

 Better kissy face. :-D

Hope everyone had a fun and safe New Years Eve!
