Coastal Scents Shadow Worx Primer (applied to upper lid, blending in gently with ring finger) 

Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy (applied applied all around the eye, then rubbing in gently with ring finger)

Morgana - LE #5 (applied under brow with MAC 217 by patting, sweeping and blending downward) 

Fyrinnae - Dokkalfar (applied to outer V and crease with MAC 217 by patting/sweeping)

This week I've been having sort of a makeup rut. So I went with simple soft makeup yesterday. Although I redeemed myself today and will have a dramatic, dark look to post for you tomorrow. :-)

Nails/NOTD: Pure Ice - Rio

While this polish is pretty, it was disappointing. I thought it would be a darker pink and much more opaque when applied, but I was wrong. Even with 3 coats, it's see through and bright barbie pink. :-/  Next time I'll try it over black and see how that turns out.

My Christmas shtuff...

This year I wasn't sure if I wanted to share with you, what gifts I received for Christmas. I know some of you see it as bragging, but I always love seeing what other people wanted and received. I'm fairly hard to shop for. I'm one of those people that if I see something I REALLY want, I'll find a way to buy it myself, even if that means saving up for a few months to do so.

The #1 thing I wanted was another pair of steampunk boots. I wanted them so much that I told my husband, I'd be fine it that was the only thing I got. He got them!

 I've been wanting the Alice game since it came out this year. I could have bought it at any point, but I knew my husband was wanting to get it for me. I don't write in diaries, but my husband got this as it has a bunch of Alphonse Mucha art work inside. Which is my fav!

 

This last gift was a huge surprise! Since I'm all about makeup, Jason was looking for months for an antique powder compact. I had no idea! This compact is 90 years old, is sterling silver, has a sterling silver chain wrist strap, a mirror and MEM engraved on the front. OK so those aren't quite my initials, but it's close. My first name is Emily, my last name starts with an M and everyone calls me Em or just M. My husband sometimes calls me "My exquisite M" so that's why the MEM worked out. :-)  Such a sweet and thoughtful gift! I cleaned it and added a MAC pressed face powder to it so that I can use it. :-)  But haven't taken pictures of the MAC powder in it.

Nails/NOTD: Avon - Golden Wine

This is one of my top favourite red polishes and is so perfect around the Holidays. :-)  It's a rich red wine with gold sparkles. Love it!

Dramatic smokey Green Makeup look with Morgana Cryptoria

With this look, I was wanting to do a sort of smokey forest green. You could probably wear this type of look any time of year, but I was doing this with the Holidays in mind. Icy Blue Makeup look with Stars makeup Haven

My husband really liked this look. He ALWAYS says he likes my makeup when I'm wearing blue eyeshadow. I don't think it's because I look good in blue, I think it's just because it's his favourite colour so he notices it more. That's what I'm assuming anyway. I have no idea! :-)
