Lipstick application video tutorial

Some of you have requested that I do a video to show you how I apply my lipstick. So here it is! I hope this is helpful. :-)

My mail comes into my house through a slot in the wall, and you can hear the mail crash into the floor. Hee hee! It's convenient, but it usually scares my cats and sometimes scares even me!

I should specify that even tho the lip wands are disposable, I DO NOT throw them away after each use. I clean them and reuse them just like my brushes. :-)

NOTD: Sally Hansen Nail Prisms - Garnet Lapis

Normally I wouldn't take so many pictures of polish but this one looks so different depending on lighting and angles. Which I LOVE because I can't stop looking at it. Even in the bottle it's just gorgeous!

I achieved this look with:
1 coat of Avon's NAIL EXPERTS Smooth Beginnings Base Coat
1 coat of Avon NAILWEAR PRO Nail Enamel in Gunmetal (discontinued)
1 coat of Garnet Lapis (discontinued)
1 coat of Avon's NAIL EXPERTS UV Gloss Guard Top Coat

Using Avon's base and top coat has helped my polish last at least 4 days with no chipping. That says a lot since I work with my hands daily (I hand craft jewelry for a living in case you didn't know). When I clean my house, I wear those handy rubber gloves to keep my skin from drying out but it really helps the polish last longer too.

My husband Dj'd at a club last night. I did a very dramatic blue eyeshadow and glitter look for it. I have been in love Morgana's 1920's lipstick collection and wore Flirtatious Flapper again. :-)

 My outfit for the night is really not normal for me. I prefer to wear dresses with cool tights and boots. But I recently got a kick ass pair of high heels with the COOLEST heels ever! So I took advantage of a chance to wear them with a short military style dress and diamond fishnets. I honestly felt like a slapper in this outfit...Like I said, I don't normally wear stuff like this!
