What I use for my Daily Beauty Ritual

I saw this posted on a few ladies' blogs. I've never done this list before but here goes!

Shampoo: healthy sexy hair rehydrating pumpkin shamoo (smells like pumpkin pie!)

Conditioner: healthy sexy hair pumpkin conditioner (smells like pumpkin pie!)

Styling Products: I don't use styling products on my hair. However, I use healthy sexy hair pumpkin potion leave-in conditioner and pumpkin enzyme therapy mist

Shower Gel: Isle of Eden Cashmere Crème Body Wash in a variety of scents that I rotate.

Body Moisturizer: Isle of Eden Goddess Glow Body Gloss usually in Sugar me! Marshmallow, Funeral Parlor Girl (Halloween collection) or Pink Snowflakes (Christmas collection). This stuff is AWESOME after shaving your leggies.

Deodorant: BAN

Cleanser: Mary Kay Deep Cleanser Formula 3

Toner: Mary Kay Blemish Control Toner Formula 3

Exfoliator: Avon ANEW CLINICAL Advanced Dermabrasion System

Moisturizer: jane. Nearly Foundation spf 30 in fair during the day and 100% Emu Oil at night

Foundation Brush: some sort of kabuki brush

Concealer: Um...I almost never use it...

Powder: Earth-Glo Minerals matte foundation in Natural or Nude

Blush: Lately I've been using 2 TKB micas as blush and they are Sparkle Rose and Winter Rose

Highlighter: I use the same blushes as highlighters too.

Eyeshadow Base: Too Faced Shadow Insurance usually with Detrivore Primer on top and once in a while I use Fyrinnae Pixie Epoxy for the more glittery stuff.

Eyeshadows: Aromaleigh, Archetype, TKB, Morgana Minerals, Medusa's Makeup, 88 palettes and SMH palettes

Eyeliner: Kryolan Aquacolor, Avon Luxery eye pencils, Aromaleigh's Drama Queen liners and Urban Decay 24/7 liners.

Curler: don't need one!

Mascara: Eyeko mascara in black or burgundy (but waiting for my Morgana mascaras in green, blue and purple!)

Lipstick: I go between Avon, Morgana Vegan lipstick and Revlon.

Lipgloss: Right now Avon Glazewear lipgloss and Walmart's Halloween lipglosses

Nail Colour: I do not wear nail polish

Perfume: I mostly use Isle of Eden's roll-on perfume and I rotate between dozens of scents (seriously way too many to list), and I sometimes use Black Pheonix Alchemy Lab's Loviatar and Antique Lace.

Copper and Purple LOTD with SMH

I love wearing flowers in my hair. :-)  Makes me feel all girly and pretty. I made this hair flower with a 'real touch' ivory rose that looks and feels real but is totally fake.

Stars Makeup Haven Haul/Review

Last week Stars Makeup Haven was having a 20% off sale so I got a "Build Your Own Custom 28 Pan Eyeshadow Palette". I just received it yesterday. The colour Foxy was missing from the order. I contacted them and received an email a little while ago that they sent the missing colour out today. Most of the colours I ordered were the newer ones they just put up on their site. Also, my order came with the eyeshadows not in the palette so I could arrange the colours in the order I wanted. :-)

List of colours:
Cocoa
Warm & Fuzzy
Cashmere
Bee's Knees
Mimosa
Sunshine Girl
Regal
Mint Julep
Something Blue
Powder Room
Ultra Violet
Two To Tango
Teal Tuesday
Striptease
Sparks
Sin-sational
Scandalous
Raisin' Cane
Pandora
Glitz
Foxy (this one is missing in the pictures)
Fireflies
Fantasy
Euphoria
Couture
Chic
Cat's Meow
Fifi

Here's where you can view the swatches from Karla Sugar's blog: Stars Makeup Haven eyeshadow

I've been using the Smokey Blacks Eyeshadow Quad almost every day for a few weeks (as highlighter and darken my crease) to help me decide whether or not I wanted to buy more colours. I also did one of my Halloween looks with it. The texture is smooth and creamy, goes on very well, blends like a dream and is highly pigmented. I really like these eyeshadows and how easy they are to use. So it was easy for me to decide on getting the larger palette and pick out what colours I want. I have another 28 pan palette coming for Christmas. :-) How do I know? Well, with my man being afraid he'd select the wrong colours on the drop-down menu, he asked me to do it so he wouldn't have to worry when he placed the order. Hee hee. Anyway, these will be so nice for when I travel and have days where I don't have time to sift through hundreds of loose eyeshadows to create a look.

The eyeshadow pans are the same size as MAC. You can purchase the single eyeshadows for $4.95 each without a palette. The 28 pan palette alone is $13.95. However, you can save money by getting the "build your own custom 15 pan palette" for $49.95 or save even more by getting the "build your own custom 28 pan palette" for $79.95. With the BYOC 15 pan palette, the eyeshadows are $3.33 each and the palette is FREE. With the BYOC 28 pan palette, the eyeshadows are $2.85 each and the palette is FREE. So rather than buying a few colours here and there and purchasing the palette separately, I decided to save money for a while and then buy a big ol' BYOC palette to get my moneys worth. :-)  It really saves more money in the long run and I'll have just 2 big palettes rather than 4 smaller ones. Which I prefer.

I will update this post when I get the missing eyeshadow in the mail. :-D

Thanksgiving look with Gold, Orange and Brown glitter

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Ugh...I'm trying to get into the holiday spirit but I'm just not feeling it too much. I am in a great mood though. I wasn't sure if I wanted to do a look today, let alone have time to do one. However, I felt like I needed a boost to get me going. So rather than doing a typical Thanksgiving look, I went a little crazy with glitter and used fall colours to go along with the season. I'm super lazy when it comes to my hair but I did something with it today.
Thanks to all my followers! I hope you enjoy my bloggity blog and today's look! :-)

Revlon ColorStay Ultimate Lipcolor and Stargazer Glitter Lipstick

So I got this Revlon lipcolor in Superb Sangria because I tend to eat the heck outta my lipstick and it wears off no matter what I'm doing. I don't mind touching up, but I would like at least one lipstick I don't have to touch up AT ALL if I'm out dancing, where the last thing on my mind is seeing if my makeup is still OK. I am a makeup whore but I tend to use the bathroom, wash my hands and not even bother to look in the mirror...and I have no idea why. I could have my skirt tucked into my pantyhose and wouldn't know unless someone told me!
Anyway, while this lipstick does last, it's not very moisturizing and I don't care for the colour too much on me. It takes a while to dry and it's rather sticky until it does, although it is smooth. I did a before and after photo. The before is of  Revlon's lipcolor alone, and the after photo is with Stargazer red glitter lipstick on top. The red glitter lipstick is a clear sort of waxy lipstick with red glitter in it. Not something that looks good by itself IMO.

Not sure how I feel about either looks

What do you think? Have you tried either of these products?

Smokey, Dramatic Peacock

I absolutely love peacocks and love creating various peacock looks. Did you know that female peacocks are called peahens? Hee hee. Some useless knowledge for ya there! This look required a lot of blending the colours together and out.

Here's the mail it never fails...

It makes me want to wag my tail...when it comes I wanna wail...MAIL! OK, that was from Blue's Clues. My nephews watched the heck out of that show so naturally, when mail comes, that sometimes comes to mind. Yes, I am a dork. Deal with it! Anyway, I got my Urban Decay 24/7 liners in the mail today. So excited to finally get these. They are super smooth, very pigmented and they are lovely colours.

Smokey Black/Green Sparkly Look and Feather Collar

Today I'm modeling a custom green and black feather choker/collar I made for my lovely friend, Jennifer! I hope she likes it! The look I created is inspired by the choker. :-)

Now for the close ups of sparkly eye makeup! I have to go grocery shopping for Thanksgiving dinner tonight and I WILL wear this look out! Without the feather collar of course. I only wore it for the pics!
